The Lion's Den from energy wine to care app

Whether it's energy wine, cosmetics for on the go or a play stick with technology, the sixth episode of "Die Höhle der Löwen" once again puts exciting start-up ideas in the spotlight.
Cologne, June 2, 2025 - At 8:15 pm on VOX, Die Höhle der Löwen enters the sixth round of the current season. Five start-ups will present their ideas to investors. The show features new products from the leisure, equality, equestrian sports, cosmetics and drinks sectors.
Electronic gaming fun from Regensburg ChuckaRubba
The founders Thomas Eichstetter, Rainer Lauberger and Thomas Moch present ChuckaRubba, an electronic game stick that uses built-in technology to count the number of revolutions when thrown and displays them visually and acoustically. The original idea is based on a TV game. The target group is children, young people and adults. The founders are offering 30 percent of their company for 100,000 euros.
Digital equality in everyday life equaly
Ronja Hoffacker and Louisa Plasberg from Berlin present equaly, an app that supports couples in the fair division of household and care work. The application serves as a digital relationship coach with task management, weekly check-ins and expert content. The aim is to make mental burdens visible and solve them as partners. They are offering ten percent of their shares for 200,000 euros.
Safe exit ramp for horse trailers Easy Exit
With Easy Exit, Anna and Michael Schnurbusch from Voerde present a solution for greater safety in equestrian sport. The non-slip ramp is designed to prevent injuries when exiting horse trailers. The idea is based on personal experience and has already been patented throughout Europe. The founders are looking for 50,000 euros in capital for ten percent of the company shares.
Multifunctional cosmetics for on the go MON COURAGE
Founder Eva Helmeth from Denzlingen lives as a digital nomad and has developed MON COURAGE, two care sticks (Cream & Sun Stick) that are handy, sustainable and suitable for air travel. The products combine traditional medicinal plants with modern active ingredients and are aimed at frequent travelers. She is asking for 150,000 euros for 15 percent of her company.
Energy meets rose wine Weinfly
Max Plessing and Maximilian Koch from Fellbach present a new drinks concept with Weinfly: rosé wine combined with caffeine, taurine and guarana. The first "energy wine" is intended to appeal to a young target group. 15,000 bottles have already been sold online. The founders are offering a ten percent stake for an investment of 50,000 euros.
Episode 6 also shows the diversity of the start-up scene, from health and partnerships to leisure fun and nutrition. The show will then decide whether deals are made. For Monday evenings after a hard day's work as a VC or start-up, Die Höhle der Löwen is still a great way to end the day. The show will certainly inspire many people to embark on the entrepreneurial path, but caution is advised in terms of content. Only a very small part of start-up life is depicted and this is sometimes exaggerated. This increases the entertainment value of the show, but a real insight behind the scenes would be desirable.
