The online brokerage company will be the new main sponsor at Hertha BSC. The chest of the jersey apparently costs the Berlin start-up three to four million euros.

Starting next year, Homeday will become the main sponsor of first division football club Hertha BSC, adorning the players' chests until the end of the season. Until 2024, the start-up will remain "exclusive partner", according to a statement. "The connection fits: Hertha and Homeday have common roots in Berlin and both have big growth plans," said Dmitri Uvarovski, co-founder and CMO of Homeday.

Homeday will also be allowed to advertise in the stadium. The jersey sponsorship is expected to cost three to four million euros, according to BILD

, after which Homeday will pay around one million euros per year for the exclusive partnership until 2024.

Homeday was founded in 2015 in Berlin and brokers online. Just this summer, the start-up raised 40 million euros in investment. The money came from a joint venture between Axel Springer SE and online estate agent Purplebricks, which has since held a 54 percent stake in the company.
