Insify expands to Germany

Insify makes in business insurance for European freelancers and small businesses. Now the startup is coming to Germany.
Accel led a €15 million Series A funding round for Dutch company Insify in January. Visionaries Clib and N26 founder Maximilian Tayenthal also participated. The start-up is now expanding to Germany next.
CEO and founder and Koen Thijssen of Insify is proud to enter the German market, "Considering Germany as our second market was natural for us, not only because we are neighbors, but also because it is the largest market in the EU. Insurance companies should support entrepreneurs instead of overburdening them. As a longtime entrepreneur, I know from my own experience that running a small business can be challenging, even in the best of times."
Thijssen, who previously led Rocket Internet in the Benelux and was one of the founding members of startup Bloomon, founded Insify 2020.
