New business airline apparently wants to take off from Hamburg

According to a media report, a new charter line wants to start in Hamburg. Much is still unclear, but there is already an entry in the commercial register.

While airlines are struggling with low travel volumes due to the corona pandemic, a new charter line is apparently about to take off in Hamburg. The start-up came to the attention of trade portal Aerotelegraph

as it advertised for pilots on a job portal.

The new airline, called Platoon Aviation, announced there that it would rely on "brand-new Pilatus PC-24s". These are aircraft of the latest generation. As the trade magazine has now discovered, two PC-24 jets under construction and testing can be seen in the Swiss community of Stans, bearing the Platoon name.

In the meantime, the start-up also has an entry in the German commercial register. There the Platoon Aviation GmbH & Co. KG and the Platoon Aviation Verwaltungs GmbH are registered. The company plans to offer "all kinds of services in the field of aviation and its distribution". More information is not yet known. The managing director of Platoon Aviation Verwaltungs GmbH, Deniz Miro Weißenborn, did not want to comment publicly to aerotelegraph yet.
