Pigment secures 145 million US dollars in Series D financing round

Paris, April 4, 2024 - Pigment, a business planning company, has announced that it has closed a $145 million Series D funding round. The financing was led by ICONIQ Growth, which previously led Pigment's Series C investment. Additional investors, including Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners as well as existing investors such as IVP, Meritech, Greenoaks and Felix Capital, also participated in the round.

Growth and customer loyalty

Pigment recorded impressive growth last year. The company tripled its annual recurring revenue and doubled its global customer base. The number of corporate customers also tripled. Pigment was able to win global brands such as Unilever, Merck, Keolis, Datadog, KAYAK and 6sense as customers. This is largely attributed to the combination of ease of use and scalability that Pigment offers for accurate and timely decisions.

The company has strengthened its presence in North America, its largest market, by opening offices in New York and Toronto. Strategic hires were also made, including Jay Peir as Global Head of Strategy and Sean Brophy as Global Head of Sales.

Use of funds

Pigment will use the funds from the financing round to continue to innovate and drive adoption of its planning platform. The focus will be on simplifying decision making and increasing agility at scale. The company also plans to accelerate its investment in generative AI to further support decision making and agility.
