The start-up has also announced its intention to expand further in Europe. In doing so, it is apparently benefiting from the tense situation on the VC market.

The Berlin-based fintech Re:cap has announced its launch in the Netherlands. It is an important step for expansion throughout Europe. According to the start-up, it is benefiting from the tense situation on the VC market.

Re:cap offers companies the opportunity to convert up to 60 percent of their annual recurring revenue (ARR) into immediate, non-dilutive upfront payments. This means they have to rely less on traditional investors and sell them company shares. "For a long time, VC capital was the only conceivable form of financing for many start-ups. However, current market conditions are forcing companies to rethink, especially when it comes to their cash flow. With our marketplace model, we will revolutionize the way software companies finance themselves," says CEO Paul Becker with conviction. He founded Re:cap together with Jonas Tebbe in 2021 and the leading investors are Felix Capital, Project A, Mubadala Capital and Entrée Capital.

In addition to the financing model, Re:cap now offers an analysis tool for monitoring the most important KPIs, which companies can also use to compare themselves within their industry.
