Europe's largest AI initiative and global software market leader join forces to advance Europe in the field of artificial intelligence
Munich, August 14, 2024 - Global enterprise software market leader SAP and the appliedAI initiative, Europe's largest initiative for the application of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI), announce a strategic partnership. The aim of this collaboration is to strengthen Europe's position in the field of AI and drive the application of AI in business processes.

The partnership focuses on three core areas: The promotion of AI in SAP's product portfolio, knowledge transfer and training, and the development of innovative use cases in specific business processes such as finance and supply chain. The aim of the merger is to identify AI scenarios and implement them together with the partners in the appliedAI network in order to offer companies effective solutions for optimizing their processes.
The cooperation with appliedAI enables us and our customers to fully exploit the potential of AI technologies and at the same time build up the necessary knowledge in the companies.

Just last month, we reported that MCML and appliedAI Initiative had announced a partnership to promote AI in companies. The new partnership between SAP and appliedAI sends another strong signal about the future of European industry and the growing importance of AI in the global economy.
