Elinvar wins Klarwert as new partner

The Berlin-based start-up Elinvar and the subsidiary of Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh will cooperate in asset management in the future.

With Elinvar's so-called Wealthtech platform, all relevant processes of asset management can be managed. Now Klarwert, a subsidiary of Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Berlin-based start-up.

Elinvar emerged from Finleap's incubator in 2016 and offers a white-label solution for banks and asset managers. The offering includes applications for core processes, such as client management, online closing route, in-person advisory support, portfolio management, reporting, billing, online client access and communication, as well as connecting third-party service providers such as custodian banks and market data providers. Klarwert has been primarily responsible for the cooperative bank's asset management since January 2021 and, according to its own statements, expects assets in the triple-digit millions in the first quarter.

"The successful cooperation of our asset management subsidiary Klarwert GmbH with Elinvar impressively proves how profitable a cooperation between experienced portfolio managers and innovative technology partners can be for all parties involved," said Volksbank board member Ulrich Scheppan, announcing, "That's why we will continue to selectively expand our investments and cooperations with fintechs and startups."
