Slack experiencing severe disruption on Monday

The chat app Slack experienced massive disruptions on Monday. The outage comes in the middle of Salesforce's acquisition.
At around 4pm German time on Monday, the chat app Slack suffered a major outage. This is shown by clustered messages on the site AlleStörungen.de. Slack confirmed the disruption on Twitter, saying, "Our team is on it and will keep you updated. Sorry for the disruption." About two hours later, the problems were fixed.
Slack is used by many employees in Germany as a workspace. Especially employees in the home office were thus no longer accessible. While the outage came just before closing time for many offices in Germany, it came at the start of work in the morning in the US.
The disruptions come at the worst possible time for Slack. The chat provider announced in December that Salesforce was buying the company, for $28 billion. Its biggest competitor is Microsoft Teams.
