The start-up from Chemnitz has closed its financing round and entered into a strategic partnership with investor General Atlantic.

Staffbase already sees itself as a leading provider of digital solutions for internal corporate communications. With a now completed financing round of 122 million euros and the partnership with General Atlantic, the start-up wants to further expand its position in the market. As part of the new partnership, Achim Berg, Operating Partner at General Atlantic and President of the digital association Bitkom, will join Staffbase's advisory board, the start-up announced today. Existing investors Insights Partners and e.ventures also participated in the funding round. Kizoo and Capnamic Ventures remain invested.

"We have been following this exciting company for some time and now look forward to supporting the founding and management team as they expand their global market leadership," said Christian Figge, Managing Director at General Atlantic. Staffbase co-founder and CEO Martin Böhringer hopes that the partnership will enable him to further expand the position of his start-up, particularly in North America.

Staffbase was launched in 2014 as a software provider. The start-up develops employee apps, internal email newsletters, tools and intranets to improve employee communication. More than 1,000 organizations, and thus more than eight million people, already use the startup's products. These include Adidas, Ikea, Johns Hopkins University and Volvo.
