Talentsconnect receives seven-figure funding

The money is to flow into the start-up's growth. It also wants to make its software accessible to more potential customers and initiate internationalization.

The Cologne-based recruiting start-up Talentsconnect has received two seven-figure investments: VC Pride Capital put a mid-seven-figure amount into the Cologne-based company in the form of mezzanine financing. In addition, the existing shareholders extended their investment by a seven-digit amount. Talentsconnect did not disclose the exact amount of the investment.

Talentsconnect intends to use the money to accelerate its growth. By 2023, the start-up wants to have four times as many customers as it has today. It aims to make that possible by opening up its software to small and medium-sized businesses. In addition, Talentsconnect wants to set the course for future internationalization.

"Our mission is to enable companies and, more specifically, recruiters to successfully find, approach and attract talent themselves," says CEO and founder Robin Sudermann. This also convinced the investor: "The growth strategy fits with our ambitions and experience from other portfolio companies," says Managing Partner of Pride Capital Partners Lars van 't Hoenderdaal.

Talentsconnect is a provider in the recruiting SaaS space. Since 2019, the company had grown strongly without external funding rounds. The company's core product is the so-called "JobShop": it is intended to map the career area of customers and thus make it a central job marketing platform. Talentsconnect's portfolio includes around 250 large and medium-sized companies. In addition to Trusted Shops and Paracelsus Kliniken, these include DAX-listed corporations such as E.on, Deutsche Börse, Covestro and Siemens.
