Talentsconnect receives seven-figure financing

The money will be used to grow the start-up. It also wants to make its software accessible to more potential customers and initiate internationalization.

The Cologne-based recruiting start-up Talentsconnect has received two seven-figure investments: VC Pride Capital poured a mid-seven-figure sum into the Cologne-based company in the form of mezzanine financing. In addition, the existing shareholders increased their investment by a seven-digit amount. Talentsconnect did not disclose the exact amount of the investment.

Talentsconnect intends to use the money to accelerate its growth. By 2023, the start-up aims to have four times as many customers as it has today. This should be possible by opening up its software to small and medium-sized companies. Talentsconnect also wants to set the course for future internationalization.

"Our mission is to enable companies and specifically recruiters to successfully find, approach and attract talent themselves," says CEO and founder Robin Sudermann. This also convinced the investor: "The growth strategy fits in with our ambitions and experience from other portfolio companies," says Managing Partner of Pride Capital Partners Lars van 't Hoenderdaal.

Talentsconnect is a provider in the field of recruiting SaaS. The company has grown strongly since 2019 without external financing rounds. The company's core product is the "JobShop", which is designed to map the customer's career area and turn it into a central job marketing platform. Talentsconnect's portfolio includes around 250 large and medium-sized companies. In addition to Trusted Shops and Paracelsus Kliniken, these include DAX-listed companies such as E.on, Deutsche Börse, Covestro and Siemens.
