WaVe-X invests EUR 400,000 in Truckoo

Austrian investor invests in the largest online trading platform for commercial vehicles. The total financing round amounts to EUR 1.5 million with renowned investors such as the Mobility Fund and Vent.io.
Wiener Neudorf, April 16, 2024 - The Austrian investment company WaVe-X, a subsidiary of the WALTER GROUP, has become the first investor from Austria to invest in Truckoo, the German online trading platform for commercial vehicles. In addition to financing of 400,000 euros, WaVe-X is contributing its logistics expertise to support the digitalization of the logistics industry and the truck trade.
Truckoo: Largest online trading platform for commercial vehicles in Europe
Truckoo, founded in Munich in 2020, is a platform for the digital trade of commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and construction vehicles. The startup has built up an international network of over 900 dealers and 1,300 customers. The Truckoo app enables a fully digital buying and selling process for commercial vehicles.
Further investors participate in Truckoo's financing round
The financing round totaling 1.5 million euros is intended to drive Truckoo's international growth. In addition to WaVe-X, other investors such as the Mobility Fund, Vent.io and Flixfounders GmbH & CO KG have also participated. With the additional funds and WaVe-X's logistics expertise, Truckoo aims to further expand and strengthen its position in the market.
WaVe-X's investment is a big step for the Austrian investor and underlines Truckoo's potential in the field of digital logistics. With the fresh capital and the support of experienced partners, Truckoo is driving the transformation of the commercial vehicle market and setting new standards for efficient and transparent trade in the industry.
