Xentral buys Otaja

Xentral offers software for handling business processes. Otaja's onboarding and learning platform is designed to help customers set them up.

The Augsburg-based start-up Xentral has acquired Otaja ERP Consulting GmbH. According to Xentral, it is taking over the operational business and all employees. The start-up offers ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software for small and medium-sized e-commerce companies. This is intended to bundle many different business processes in one place - from e-commerce, warehousing and production to order processing and accounting. This should help online companies with their business and boost their growth.

Xentral now wants to make Otaja's onboarding and learning platform available to all customers and service partners and expand it. This should enable Xentral customers to set up the company's ERP platform independently. Easy-to-understand videos on the Xentral software will also be available on the video portal. With this step, Xentral wants to become more attractive for start-ups and small or medium-sized companies from the e-commerce sector.

"We have already worked very well with Xentral as a service partner in the past. The takeover marks the start of a new, exciting and joint chapter for us," says Marco Schottke, co-founder of Otaja. "We are growing steadily and continuously developing our solution. That's why we are particularly interested in ensuring that all aspects of our solution (...) are intuitive and scalable," adds Benedikt Sauter, co-founder and CEO of Xentral.
