ATechX continues to expand its global PropTech network and reaches a €400 billion asset base

ATechX, the innovation and venture platform of the real estate group Aroundtown, continues on its growth trajectory. Together with its international partner network, the platform now has access to real estate assets worth more than 400 billion euros, as well as venture capital funds with a total volume of over 1.5 billion euros. With the addition of the Apleona Group and venture capital investor Zacua Ventures, ATechX is now strategically expanding its global reach and operational clout.

From an accelerator concept to an international innovation platform

Since its launch in 2024, ATechX has evolved into a major platform for PropTech innovations. The network connects real estate companies, venture capital investors, and startups with the goal of developing and scaling new technologies directly under real-world market conditions.

The partners represent real estate portfolios in Europe, North and South America, and Asia, covering various asset classes. These range from residential and office properties to hotels, retail, and logistics spaces. This gives young techies access to an infrastructure that goes beyond traditional accelerator programs. Innovations can be tested and validated immediately within existing real estate portfolios.

Apleona brings operational real estate expertise to the table

New to the network is the Apleona Group. The company is one of Europe’s leading facility management providers and the market leader in Germany.

With its experience in building operations, Apleona aims to help develop new technologies and successfully integrate them into ongoing operations. Especially when it comes to topics such as energy efficiency, building management, or digital services, practical implementation plays a decisive role in the success of PropTech solutions.

Zacua Ventures strengthens the investment perspective

Also new on board is Zacua Ventures. The internationally active venture capital investor, with offices in San Francisco, New York, Singapore, Madrid, and Mexico City, focuses on innovations related to the built environment.

Zacua Ventures’ participation brings additional expertise in the areas of ESG, construction innovation, and sustainable real estate solutions to the network. At the same time, it opens up further opportunities for international scaling and financing for the participating startups.

What sets ATechX apart is its direct access to an extensive network of leading real estate companies. In addition to Aroundtown, the ecosystem includes Round Hill Capital, Vonovia, Prologis, LEG Immobilien, Stoneweg, and the Supernova Group, among others.

Together, these partners provide real estate portfolios with a total value of over 400 billion euros. The network is complemented by renowned venture capital investors such as Fifth Wall, noa, and Realyze Ventures. Focus on Practical Application – Application Phase Open

With an eye toward the fourth cohort, ATechX is once again opening its application phase for young companies. The program is seeking startups that develop solutions for the entire real estate lifecycle. The focus is on a practical approach. Technologies should not only be designed but also tested directly in the market and further developed in collaboration with leading industry players.
