Autodoc seeks investor

In September of last year, Autodoc completed its transformation into a public limited company. Now the planned IPO has probably been postponed and an investor is being sought instead.
Autodoc is currently looking for an investor to take a minority stake in the company. To date, all shares in the company have been owned by the founders Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner and Vitalij Kungel. In the event of an IPO, Autodoc could currently be valued at around three billion euros.
According to information from the Handelsblatt an IPO was actually already planned for fall 2021. However, due to the difficult situation for technology companies on the financial markets, the automotive spare parts retailer postponed the IPO.
Autodoc has been in existence since 2008 and sells spare parts for cars, trucks and motorcycles in 27 European countries on its online platform. In September of last year, the company transformed itself into a public limited company. The founders Erdle, Wegner and Kungel moved to the Supervisory Board. Christian Gisy, Bert Althaus and Dmitri Zadorojnii have since taken over the management of the company.
