Autodoc seeks investor

In September of last year, Autodoc completed its transformation into a stock corporation. Now the planned IPO has probably been postponed, and an investor is being sought instead.
Autodoc is currently looking for an investor to take a minority stake in the company. So far, all shares of the company belong to the founders Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner and Vitalij Kungel. In the event of an IPO, Autodoc could currently be valued at around three billion euros.
According to information from the Handelsblatt's an IPO had actually already been planned for the fall of 2021. However, due to the difficult situation for technology companies on the financial markets, the automotive spare parts dealer had postponed the IPO.
Autodoc has been in existence since 2008, selling spare parts for cars, trucks and motorcycles in 27 European countries on its online platform. In September of last year, the company completed its transformation into a stock corporation. In the process, founders Erdle, Wegner and Kungel moved to the supervisory board. Christian Gisy, Bert Althaus and Dmitri Zadorojnii have since taken over the management of the company.
