Sono Motors appoints Supervisory Board

The Munich-based mobility start-up has been listed on the stock exchange for a few days now. The Supervisory Board includes industry experts such as Wilko Stark.
Following the Nasdaq IPO , Sono Motors has appointed its Supervisory Board. Wilko Stark, the former Head of Product Strategy at Volkswagen, will chair the five-member Supervisory Board. His deputy is Martina Buchhauser, who was a member of the Board of Management at Volvo, where she was Head of Global Purchasing.
"We have appointed proven experts to our Supervisory Board who also have extensive expertise in the areas of mobility, automotive, digitalization and corporate management," says Managing Director and co-founder Jona Christians. Robert Jeffe, Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Assosiated Bank Corp and Senior Partner at BlackWatch Advisors, is also a member of the Supervisory Board, according to the company. NeLeSo founder and Managing Director Sebastian Böttger represents the interests of stakeholders. The Munich-based start-up has appointed Johannes Trischler as an employee representative.
Sono Motors was founded in 2016 by Jona Christians, Laurin Hahn and Navina Pernsteiner. The Munich-based start-up has developed an electric car with integrated solar panels. Production of the vehicle, known as the "Sion", is set to begin in 2023.
