Better Ventures expands its team

The Angel Club gains Moritz Vohler from Sono Motors and Valentin Schmitt from the Entrepreneurship Center as new employees.

Better Ventures grows by two new employees. Moritz Vohler and Valentin Schmitt are now also part of the so-called Angel Club. From now on, Vohler and Schmitt are to help Better Ventures find the next impact unicorns.

Vohler most recently worked at Sono Motors, where he was responsible for corporate finance and led financing rounds. Schmitt comes from the Entrepreneurship Center, the tech incubator at RWTH Aachen University, where he was Head of Mobilization.

According to its own statements, the Angel Club only invests in start-ups that aim to improve the world. These include companies in the fields of climate, health and also education. So far, Better Ventures has invested in companies such as Everdrop, Delivery Green, and Heatle. Also in the club are more than 50 entrepreneurs as well as founders of Flaschenpost or Ankerkraut, among others. "We are convinced that entrepreneurs:inside are most capable of solving the biggest problems of our time," says Tina Dreimann, co-founder and managing director of the Angel Club. "With our know-how, our network and our capital, we accelerate them."
