Only organically produced, regional and sustainable food, delivered by e-truck: That is the business model of Biorena. Now the delivery service is available at its first location.

The Biorena delivery service has launched in Munich. Munich residents can now have organic, regional and sustainable food and household and hygiene products delivered to their homes every day between eight and 9 pm. They can choose the time slot themselves, and same-day delivery is also possible if ordered in good time. Deliveries are made with low CO2 emissions using electric transporters.

The Biorena range includes over 2,000 products. In doing so, Biorena works with regional producers and organic start-ups such as Everdrop. "It is important to us that we know our producers personally. Through an optimally coordinated partnership network, we can also compensate for production fluctuations of smaller producers and thus offer our regional partners secure sales opportunities," says Biorena founder Clemens Rengier.

In the future, the delivery service would like to expand its offering to other cities and regions. With its business model, the start-up has already convinced the investment firm Picus Capital.
