The Series A financing was led by investment firm Sino.

Frankfurt-based fintech Captiq has successfully closed its Series A round. In total, Captiq received 2.6 million euros in capital. The funds will be used to expand the business. According to the company, it has launched the first online financing platform for chamber professionals.

The round was led by investment firm Sino, which is known among other things for having bet early on Düsseldorf-based online broker Trade Republic. Numerous existing shareholders, including well-known business angels from the German and international financial scene, also participated in the capital round. Captiq had raised around €2 million in equity in three rounds to date for the development of the platform.

"The founders and the business model of Captiq have convinced us. We see significant growth opportunities in the digitization and industrialization of the lending business," said Ingo Hillen, CEO of Sino. "Captiq addresses an underserved billion-euro market and relies on cooperation with established players."

The lending platform that Captiq has developed specializes in financing for so-called chamber professionals. These include, for example, architects, doctors, tax consultants, lawyers or auditors. The automated process from application to disbursement of the loans is particularly geared towards financing requests of less than 250,000 euros. Due to the high verification effort and low interest yields, this market has received little attention so far, the company explains.
