Blackstone and FINTOP invest. Cardo AI modernizes the asset-based financing market with AI and data-driven solutions
Milan, November 2024 - Asset-based financing and private lending platform Cardo AI has successfully closed a $15 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Blackstone Innovations Investments, FINTOP Capital and JAM FINTOP. The goal of the investment is to expand Cardo AI into the US market and further develop its advanced technologies for the lending and financing industry.
Transforming the 40 trillion dollar market
The $40 trillion asset-based financing and private credit market is largely still operating with outdated systems and manual processes. Cardo AI addresses these weaknesses with new software solutions for portfolio modeling, data management and decision support. The platform enables investors, banks and service providers to manage complex loan portfolios more efficiently and reduce costs.

Global expansion and strategic partnerships
Cardo AI has established a strong presence in Europe and continues its expansion in the US with the support of Blackstone, which is already utilizing Cardo AI's technologies in its own lending and insurance activities. With the investment of FINTOP Capital and JAM FINTOP, Cardo also gains access to a network of nearly 100 regional and community banks, which should further accelerate scaling.
