Conntac closes Series A financing round

The Augsburg-based start-up Conntac raises a seven-figure sum, which aims to relieve the hotlines of telecommunications providers with its app.
Founded in 2017, Conntac raises a seven-figure amount in its Series A financing round. The round is led by Bayern Kapital, the Bavarian state's venture capital firm, which is once again investing in the Augsburg-based startup. Also on board are venture capitalist Basinghall, investment fund H&S Investment and existing investors.
"Conntac has grown strongly since our first investment. The economic successes to date are impressive, and the technological possibilities of the solutions are extraordinarily promising - even beyond the borders of Germany. The company is a Bavarian high-tech success story with still great growth potential. That is why we are happy to continue supporting Conntac", says Bayern-Kapital Managing Director Georg Ried.
The start-up has developed a so-called self-service platform for telecommunication providers to relieve service hotlines. The white-label solution is available as an app for the providers' customers, via which problems are to be analyzed and addressed and remedied step by step with the users. Customers include Telefónica Germany and Vodafone. In addition, Conntac also offers the same solution for medium-sized companies such as municipal utilities.
"We are experiencing an increasing demand for intuitive self-service solutions, not only in the ISP sector," founder Benjamin Wöhrl tells us. "Now we want to tackle the next growth steps - the successful completion of our Series A round creates the opportunities for this," he continues. He founded the start-up together with Michael Faath, Christoph Keller and Rolf Winter.
