Conntac closes Series A financing round

Augsburg-based start-up Conntac raises a seven-figure sum to relieve the hotlines of telecommunications providers with its app.
Conntac, founded in 2017, raises a seven-figure sum in its Series A financing round. The round is led by Bayern Kapital, the venture capital company of the Bavarian state, which is once again investing in the Augsburg-based start-up. The venture capitalist Basinghall, the investment fund H&S Investment and existing investors are also involved.
"Conntac has grown strongly since our first investment. The commercial successes to date are impressive and the technological possibilities of the solutions are extremely promising - even beyond Germany's borders. The company is a Bavarian high-tech success story with great growth potential. That is why we are happy to continue supporting Conntac," says Bayern-Kapital Managing Director Georg Ried.
The start-up has developed a so-called self-service platform for telecommunications providers to relieve the burden on service hotlines. The white-label solution is available as an app for the provider's customers, which is used to analyze problems and address and resolve them step by step with users. Customers include Telefónica Germany and Vodafone, for example. Conntac also offers the same solution for medium-sized companies such as municipal utilities.
"We are experiencing increasing demand for intuitive self-service solutions, and not just from internet providers," explains founder Benjamin Wöhrl. "Now we want to tackle the next growth steps - the successful conclusion of our Series A round creates the opportunities for this," he continues. He founded the start-up together with Michael Faath, Christoph Keller and Rolf Winter.
