This start-up snaps up Yvonne Rattay as head of sales

The manager comes from Visable. With her, the still new CEO expands the start-up's management team.

Yvonne Rattay will be Chief Sales Officer at Berlin-based start-up Aroundhome. Rattay announced her move to the home services provider on LinkedIn."Aroundhome is a company that has had an absolutely remarkable business development since its founding 13 years ago and has exceptional potential," the manager wrote. Rattay joins the company from Visable (formerly "Who Supplies What"), a platform for suppliers and business users. She spent eight years there, most recently as VP Internal Sales. In 2010, Rattay founded Loveyy, an online store for baby fashion.

"Yvonne brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Visable and Tchibo that will enable us to succeed on our journey to become the go-to resource for all homeowners in Germany and beyond looking to make investment decisions in their homes," Aroundhome CEO Moritz Kothe also wrote on LinkedIn. Both are likely to know each other from Tchibo. Rattay worked there from 1999 to 2010, most recently as a divisional sales manager. Kothe also worked for Tchibo in middle management for five years from 2003.

Aroundhome is Germany's largest broker for home-related services and was founded in 2006 by Robin Behlau and Mario Kohle under the name Käuferportal. The company works with more than 16,000 partner companies. For the past four years Aroundhome has been part of the NuCom Group, the holding company of ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Behlau was CEO of the company until February this year, when Kothe joined from Kununu and has been running the company's operations ever since. According to the company's website, Aroundhome has not had a CSO before. The board grows to a total of five people in addition to Kothe. Founder Behlau, meanwhile, sits on Aroundhome's advisory board.
