A star chef for Organic Garden

Organic Garden was able to inspire star chef Holger Stromberg, who will become a subsidiary of the start-up with his company.

The start-up Organic Garden has been bringing the circular economy to the food industry since 2019 and has now gained prominent support in the form of star chef Holger Stromberg. Stromberg and his company f.e.b. will become a subsidiary of Organic Garden, taking all the business units and his team with him. The star chef has already cooked for the German national team and received his first Michelin star at the age of 23. From now on, as Chief Culinary Officer (CCO), he will implement his ideas at the Ingolstadt-based start-up.

"In my future partners, I have found companions who have the same unconditional will to change and the same guiding principle of filling the principle of sustainability with authenticity, meaning and action again," says Stromberg about his decision. A signature store is due to open in Munich this spring, where Stromberg's culinary ideas, such as a green hotdog, will also be sold.

In the long term, the start-up wants to operate an organic garden farm to show that the circular economy works in practice. According to the start-up, the costs of such a farm are in the mid double-digit million range, the founders are investing themselves and are in talks with potential investors. Between 80 and 120 employees will then operate the food recycling economy on the farms.
