Good Bytz receives 2.5 million euros

Hendrik Susemihl, Kevin Deutmarg and Philipp von Stürmer want to simplify everyday catering with a kitchen assistant. The development is now being supported by an investor.
Good Bytz has received 2.5 million euros from Oyster Bay Venture Capital in its first seed financing round. The start-up from Hamburg wants to use this to further develop its robotic kitchen assistant. The aim is to make everyday catering work more efficient.
The idea: while the robot prepares the dishes according to the recipe, the chefs can concentrate on trying out new dishes and selecting high-quality ingredients.
"With the debt financing, we are accelerating our growth and are looking forward to launching our product on the market in the coming months. We will do this by launching our own food brands and selected partner projects to demonstrate the potential of our robotic sous-chef," says Good Bytz co-founder Kevin Deutmarg. Together with Hendrik Susemihl and Philipp von Stürmer, he founded the start-up in Hamburg last year. Before founding the company, the founders had already worked together at the Fraunhofer Institute and at Neura Robotics.
