Founders of HappyPo create exit

The Razor Group snaps up the company founded in 2017. Founder Oliver Elsoud remains loyal to his company and goes with it.
Almost four years ago, the start-up HappyPo stood in front of the jury of the Vox show "Die Höhle der Löwen" and won over Dagmar Wöhrl: she invested 125,000 euros and received 25% of the company in return. It has now been announced that 100 percent of HappyPo will go to the Razor Group, a German Amazon store operator.
Wöhrl confirmed the report about the exit on her Instagram profile: "Together with the founders of @happypo.de, we have sold the successful startup to the Razor Group! The entire #family business is proud of you!" The exact amount is not known, but according to media reports it is said to be a seven-figure sum.
Frank Schmischke and Oliver Elsoud founded HappyPo in 2017, the same year they appeared on "Die Höhle der Löwen". The start-up, based in Troisdorf near Cologne, offers a bidet for the home: The hand shower replaces toilet paper and is therefore intended to be an environmentally friendly alternative.
"The sales process was extremely fast, transparent and honest," says co-founder Oliver Elsoud, who follows his start-up to the Razor Group as Brand Manager. "We are happy with his decision to stay on board and continue to support Razor and HappyPo," says Christoph Felix Gamon from Razor.
