Hyperganic receives 7.8 million US dollars

The round is led by Vsquared Ventures and HV Capital. Jewelry manufacturer Swarovski is also involved with a strategic investment, as well as US lender Converge and investor Hermann Hauser.

"We are thrilled that Lin and his team at Hyperganic are bringing together a strong group of investors to support a common goal with Swarovski, which is to drive sustainable manufacturing for a sustainable future," said with Graham Hench, innovation officer at the jewelry maker.

3D printing needs to become more precise and faster, says Lin Kayser's plan Hyperganic founder. Kayser plans to use the money to scale the platform, and also grow the team from 22 to 60 employees by the end of the year. Hyperganic launched in 2017. The startup's software completely rethinks 3D printing by precisely planning each smallest printable element instead of lining up squares like before. The plans are designed by an AI, only the function of the items is developed by the engineer.
