Joko Winterscheidt founds chocolate start-up

TV presenter Joko Winterscheidt wants to sell chocolate with a newly founded company. The bars already have a bizarre name.
Joko Winterscheidt is once again among the founders. This time he has founded a start-up for chocolate products - with the name "JOKOLADE". According to Gründerszene , the 41-year-old founded the start-up at the end of September.
It is entered in the commercial register under the name Schoko Winterscheidt GmbH. Winterscheidt apparently had the name Jokolade protected more than a year ago, as can be seen from the trademark register. The company primarily produces and sells "chocolate bars as a meal replacement" and "chocolate-coated rice cakes".
Winterscheidt has brought in a man with experience in the food business as managing director. Max Wittrock, founder of Mymuesli, is to manage the start-up. Wittrock left Mymuesli last year and now holds 25 percent of the shares in Schoko Winterscheidt GmbH, with the TV presenter holding the remaining 75 percent.
