The Czech delivery service was launched in Munich in August 2021. According to its own figures, the company is now growing by almost 30 percent every month.

The online supermarket Knuspr launched in Germany nine months ago. Since then, the company has received 320,000 orders and generated net sales of 23 million euros.

"The initial figures clearly show that we are shaking up the German food market with Knuspr and luring both our competitors in the retail sector and in the e-food segment out of the woodwork," says CEO Erich Comor. In the Czech Republic and Hungary, the online supermarket is already the market leader in the sector. According to Comor, this goal should also be achieved in Germany. The company delivers fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, dairy products and baked goods to its customers' homes. The company claims to source over two thirds of its range directly from producers and farmers rather than from wholesalers.

So far, the company is active in Munich and the Rhine-Main region. Following its initial success, Knuspr now wants to expand into other major German cities. The next planned locations are Hamburg and Essen. In 2023, the company plans to expand to Cologne and other cities.
