With its app for exploring the gastronomy scene, the start-up was able to win Crash Unternehmensgruppe as an investor.

The Lower Saxony-based start-up Neotaste has received an investment worth millions from the Crash entrepreneurial group led by Rolf Hilchner and Heinz-Wilhelm Bogena. The exact amount is not known.

"In the current phase of Neotaste, we want to further strengthen the entrepreneurial foundation in order to be able to handle the targeted growth in the coming years. We are sure that we have exactly the right partners here," says Hendrik Sander, founder and CEO, about the investment.

The Neotaste app has been on the market since August 2021. It is currently available in five German cities. Neotaste cooperates with more than 250 restaurants and bars. Users can discover new local restaurants via the app and receive exclusive offers to match. However, the aim is not only to motivate users to explore the culinary scene, but also to support restaurateurs. The aim is to help them tap into new target groups more easily through Neotaste - an economic factor that is particularly important due to the Corona crisis. The cooperation with Neotaste is free of charge for restaurateurs.
