SevenAccelerator participates in Dogs'n Tiger again

SevenAccelerator invests again in Dogs'n Tiger and becomes a shareholder in the pet food start-up. The media investment is intended to further increase brand awareness in Germany.

Unterföhring, August 27, 2024 - SevenAccelerator has made another investment in the Hamburg-based startup The Dude Food Company GmbH, which is behind the pet food brand Dogs'n Tiger. The media investment amounts to a low, single-digit million amount. At the same time, the media volume from the first deal was converted into company shares, making SevenAccelerator a shareholder in Dogs'n Tiger. This follow-on investment illustrates the successful partnership between the two companies.

Dogs'n Tiger continues to establish itself in the market

Dogs'n Tiger, which was founded in 2021, has now firmly established itself in the retail sector with high-quality products for dogs and cats. Originally, the company built up its customer base mainly through its own online store. Supported by SevenAccelerator, the brand was able to significantly increase its awareness through TV commercials on channels such as ProSieben, SAT.1 and Kabel Eins. As part of the new collaboration, a further commercial will be broadcast on selected channels of the media group from September.

Expansion of the product range and sustainable growth

Dogs'n Tiger initially started with snacks for pets and later expanded its range to include wet and dry food due to its success. The latest product line, "Schlemmer-Menüs", aims to further establish the brand in stationary retail. These wholesome meals have performed very well in tests, including by Futtertester.de, and are now set to conquer the German market. Their success will be supported by a listing at Spar in Austria.

The media investment is primarily intended to further increase Dogs'n Tiger's brand awareness in Germany and expand distribution in the retail sector. SevenAccelerator emphasizes that TV advertising achieves a high impact, especially with products that require a high level of trust. According to Managing Director Maximilian Jochim, the strength of TV as an advertising medium is particularly beneficial for brand building and improves the chances of nationwide listings in the retail sector.
