"Since August, we have increased our sales fivefold. With the closing of the round, we can completely focus on expansion," says CEO and co-founder Malte Rau. It is not yet known in which countries Pliant wants to expand. According to information from Handelsblatt's the start-up will announce this at the beginning of next year.
Malte Rau and Fabian Terner founded Pliant in 2020 in Berlin. The start-up offers credit cards for companies. All expenses and receipts are collected in a management tool that can also be linked to previous accounting software and travel expense solutions. In addition, corporate customers receive cashbacks when paying with the card.
