Raus on the rise: 8.5 million euros for European nature experiences! Lead investor ROCH Ventures is driving the Berlin start-up towards European market leadership.

Berlin - The start-up Raus has raised more than 8.5 million euros in its latest financing round, led by ROCH Ventures. Backed by Rockaway Ventures, Dupuis Investment, Speedinvest and 10x Founders, the hospitality tech company is now planning its Europe-wide expansion.

The funding round also includes an asset-backed lending facility from Varengold Bank aimed at scaling Raus' nature accommodation production. With a 5x revenue and guest growth in 2023, Raus has already positioned itself as the market leader for natural gastronomy in Germany.

The fresh capital will be used to further strengthen the presence in Germany, expand the platform for nature experiences, drive continuous product innovation and start the European expansion, starting with Austria in the coming months.

Raus combines all the necessary factors for a successful future: a first-class product range, digital technologies for sustainability and rapid scaling as well as an outstanding founding team.

The planned expansion throughout Europe corresponds with the launch of the Cabin model 2.0, which combines state-of-the-art technology with lighter construction, a luxurious façade and modular stairs. The goal for 2024 is to consolidate its presence in Germany and Europe, open more shared locations and optimize the technology for a seamless booking experience.

In just two years since its foundation, Raus has already helped thousands of guests in nine German states to recharge their batteries away from city life. The company is responding to the growing demand for nature experiences that offer a break from hectic everyday life.

Working with farmers and foresters enables Raus to generate additional income for small family businesses. In addition to leasing unused land, local partners can also offer their own products and services to diversify their sources of income and protect themselves against challenges such as climate change. Raus plans to further develop its platform for nature experiences and expand it with new products and services.
