Scalable Capital launches Neobroker in Austria

This means that the start-up's Austrian customers can now also invest their money in cryptocurrencies.

Investment platform Scalable Capital is bringing its Neobroker and crypto offering to the Austrian market. The digital investment advisory service has already been available in Austria since 2016. Now the company is expanding its range of services to include an online broker. Austrian customers now also have access to crypto investments. They can also create a tax report in cooperation with the auditing firm KPMG, which is said to be tailored to Austrian tax law.

"Digital asset management radically simplifies the investment process for investors in Austria as well. Now they can use Scalable Broker to further customize their portfolio or invest their money in crypto," says Florian Prucker, co-founder and co-CEO of Scalable Capital.

Prucker, Erik Podzuweit, Adam French and Stefan Mittnik founded the start-up in 2014. In the meantime, the company is active not only in Germany but also in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy and Austria. According to its own information, the start-up employs more than 380 people and has over 500,000 customers.
