Here's what happens next at Windeln.de after the insolvency filing

Together with CEO Bastian Salewsky, the appointed insolvency administrator has now informed the workforce about the next steps.
The Munich Local Court appoints Ivo-Meinert Willrodt of Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH as Windeln.de's provisional insolvency administrator. The company filed for insolvency last Friday. Willrodt, together with CEO Bastian Salewsky, has already informed employees that business operations will continue. Maintenance work is currently underway, after which the online store should be usable again without restrictions.
Windeln.de filed for insolvency due to liquidity problems. The company was founded in 2010 and has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2015. Another capital increase recently failed to materialize. "Mixed" is how CEO Salewsky describes the first half of 2022. He himself has been in office since April. "The company was able to improve adjusted earnings," he says. "However, the application process was unavoidable."
The goal now, he says, is to find a new investor for Windeln.de. The online retailer supplies its products to Germany in Switzerland and China. Insolvency administrator Willrodt first wants to stabilize business operations and then look for new investors.
