Web Summit in Lisbon - Partner Country Participation Germany@Web Summit

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWK), Koelnmesse is responsible for organizing Germany's partner country participation at the "Web Summit" 2023. The joint stand is intended to showcase Germany as a digital location and support both companies and startups.

The Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 13 to 16, 2023, is one of the largest tech conferences in Europe. With around 70,000 attendees, it is a leading event for the IT and digital industries. Especially for startups, the Web Summit offers a unique opportunity to present themselves and get in direct contact with international investors.

We are pleased to host Germany's first partner country participation at the Web Summit in Lisbon on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

The partner country participation "Germany@Web Summit 2023" aims to present Germany as an attractive investment location with a diverse and innovative start-up scene. The German Pavilion is located on a planned area of 648 square meters under the motto "The German Park" and exhibits a variety of topics and companies. The supporting program will primarily cover areas such as sustainability through digitalization, cybersecurity, the shortage of skilled workers and Germany as an investment location.

Participating companies can look forward to a varied stage program that includes pitches, panels and keynotes on all days of the event. They will also receive political support from local delegations. Participants will be supported by the German government's foreign trade fair program.
