New identity, same quality. The rebranding underlines heycare's mission without changing the service offering.

Munich, April 02, 2025 - The HR tech startup heynanny has changed its name and is now operating under the name heycare. With the rebranding, the company wants to emphasize its focus on holistic employee support. In addition to childcare, the app also offers psychological counseling, support with caring for relatives and pet care. The aim is to help companies relieve their employees in all life situations.

With heycare, we are setting an example: We are there for all care issues and support employees around the clock.

Julia Kahle, co-founder of heycare

The start-up sees itself as a modern solution for companies that want to support their teams not only with flexible working models, but also with tailored care services.

Why the topic is important

Reconciling work and family life remains a challenge for many employees. According to heycare, companies can lose up to 657,000 euros per year if they do not take measures to improve work-life balance. Absences due to childcare absences or family commitments cause high costs. In addition, losing employees due to a lack of support can be expensive - on average, it costs around 50,000 euros to replace them.

In view of the changes in the world of work, the demand for employers who support their employees in various phases of their lives is increasing. heycare offers solutions in the areas of child care, elder care, pet care and mental care.

What will change as a result of the rebranding?

Despite the new name, heycare's range of services remains unchanged."Our customers can continue to count on the usual high quality and personal service," emphasizes Julia Kahle. The app is designed to offer companies an easy-to-implement way to promote the well-being of their employees. It provides round-the-clock access to various support services.

The new name is a logical step to communicate our mission even more clearly.

Anna Schneider, co-founder of heycare

heycare wants to establish itself as the leading platform for employee support in the DACH region.

The startup heycare

The company was founded in 2022 under the name heynanny by Julia Kahle and Anna Schneider. As an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), it offers various services in the areas of mental health, child and family care and pet care. Over 200 companies, including SAP, Allianz and Daimler Truck, already rely on heycare. In 2023, we reported on an oversubscribed seed round and in 2024 about an award from the German Federal Ministry of Economics for the start-up.
