Bayern Kapital invests in Vantis with Wachstumsfonds Bayern 2

Vantis secures double-digit million financing, led by Angelini Ventures and Bayern Kapital. Focus: AI-supported care for chronically ill patients.
Landshut, March 12, 2025 - Bayern Kapital, the venture and growth capital company of the Free State of Bavaria, is investing with the Bayern 2 growth fund in Vantis, an innovative provider of hybrid care for chronically ill patients through digital solutions in combination with regular visits to the doctor.
Vantis combines digital innovation with medical care and sets new standards in the healthcare market. With a solid business model and high growth prospects, the company is a promising investment for us.
Monika Steger, Managing Director of Bayern Kapital
In addition to Bayern Kapital, Twip Impact Ventures and the existing investors firstminute capital and b2venture are participating in the Series A financing round led by Angelini Ventures in the double-digit million range. The funds from the financing round will be used to expand the team, further develop the data-driven, proactive management of chronically ill patients and expand the network of GP practices.
Care for chronically ill patients
Patients with chronic illnesses, such as cardiovascular diseases, require both regular outpatient care and long-term support in everyday life. However, the growing demand for care is being met by an increasing shortage of doctors, particularly in rural areas. Vantis addresses this challenge with an innovative combination of telemedicine, data-driven remote monitoring and AI-supported therapy, supplemented by customized GP care.
As a digital healthcare company with our own practices, we can adapt our technology specifically to the challenges of GP care. Our aim is to achieve better treatment outcomes and make doctors' day-to-day work easier.
Till Jansen, CEO Vantis
Digital health applications and GP network
Vantis operates a network of general medical practices for local GP care and already offers two digital therapy approaches:
- Vantis CHD and heart attack app (already certified as DiGA )
- Vantis hypertension app
The user-friendly apps promote heart-healthy behaviour through personalized exercises, support blood pressure measurement and document the course of therapy. Further digital health solutions are in development.
Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger emphasizes: "Demographic change and the increasing number of chronic diseases require innovative solutions. With its combination of digital and personal care, Vantis shows what the future of medical care could look like. The company is an example of Bavaria's innovative strength."
