The Berlin-based start-up will receive the sum from its existing investors. The money is to be used to expand the range of products and services and to expand into other countries.

View exam questions, create flashcards online, upload manuscripts and print them out for free: Berlin-based Charly offers this, and so far over 400,000 students across Germany are joining in. Now, according to Gründerszene

, the start-up has received a cash injection of three million euros from its existing investors,

The money is to be used to expand its own database, which has been providing exam questions and answers from 51 German universities and colleges since the end of January and can be expanded by students themselves. Charly also wants to expand into other countries.

In the past, business angels have already invested in the start-up, including the founder of the further education platform Masterplan, Daniel Schütt, and Michael Brehm, boss of AI start-up i2x.

In 2016, Charly was founded in Berlin, then still under the name PrintPeter. After the accidental death of co-founder Karl Bagusat, who had the nickname Charly, the company was renamed.
