Chloé Mayenobe becomes Head of Growth at Solarisbank

This means that she could soon be the first woman to join the bank's Management Board.
Chloé Mayenobe will join Berlin-based Solarisbank as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Representative on March 1. If BaFin gives its approval, she will join the Management Board in the second half of the year. The bank has created a new position. Mayenobe will be part of the extended management board. She will then be responsible for the international expansion of Solarisbank.
Mayenobe says: "I am delighted to support the Solarisbank team in its inspiring mission to completely rethink banking." She will be involved in driving business transformation and implementing go-to-market strategies.
The bank's new Head of Growth looks back on a long career in the European payment industry, where she has held various management positions. Most recently, she was Vice CEO and a member of the Executive Committee of fintech Natixis Payments. Prior to that, Mayenobe worked for the Ingenico Group for more than 12 years. There she was Managing Director Europe for the retail division, where she was responsible for more than 1,500 employees and managed a turnover of 400 million euros. Mayenobe was born in 1976 and is a graduate of the "École supérieure de commerce et de management" (ESCEM) in Tours, France and San Diego State University.
Solarisbank has its headquarters in Berlin and London. The company currently employs over 700 people at eight locations in Europe and India. Total turnover in 2021 amounted to around 100 million euros: according to the bank, this represents growth of over 90 percent compared to the previous year.
