DYNO extends pre-seed financing to over € 2.5 million

DYNO receives over 2.5 million euros in an extended financing round and joins forces with Haufe Group Ventures. The aim is to transform the company pension scheme.

Offenburg, July 2024 - The software startup DYNO has expanded its pre-seed financing round to over 2.5 million euros. The company has gained Haufe Group Ventures as a strategic partner. Haufe Group Ventures brings decades of entrepreneurial expertise and a strong network to the partnership. The aim of the collaboration is to transform occupational pension provision and expand DYNO's customer base. The financing was led by Haufe Group Ventures with the participation of existing investors LEA Partners and Mätch VC as well as new investor Quint Ventures.

The challenge of poverty in old age

Millions of employees in Germany are at risk of poverty in old age. The ratio of contributors to pensioners has changed drastically in recent decades. While there were still six contributors for every pensioner in the 1960s, this ratio is expected to fall to 1.5 to one by 2030. In addition, occupational pension schemes often only offer low returns due to high brokerage commissions. Many employees save all their lives, but face a significant pension gap.

Getting a grip on pensions is one of the most pressing social issues in Germany. Company pension schemes are becoming increasingly important, but often fall short of their potential.

DYNO's solution

DYNO wants to solve these problems. The company offers software that reduces manual administrative processes for companies by 91%. At the same time, the contracts are completely commission-free, which can earn employees up to 60,000 euros more in pension. Since its foundation, DYNO has successfully established itself on the market and won over customers such as Europa-Park, Freeletics and Herrenknecht.
