ecoplanet raises 2.6 million euros in seed capital

ecoplanet has received seed funding of 2.6 million euros, led by HV Capital. The capital will be used to expand the B2B energy platform and acquire customers in Germany.
ecoplanet has announced that it has successfully closed a seed financing round worth 2.6 million euros. The financing round was led by HV Capital and included a number of prominent angel investors such as Dr. Gerhard Cromme, former Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens, as well as the founders of Flixbus and sennder.
Energy management has become a top priority for industrial SMEs, and ecoplanet's early acceptance is a clear indicator of this.

Maximilian Dekorsy and Dr. Henry Keppler founded ecoplanet in July 2022 to support industrial companies in Europe with the energy transition. In recent months and years, increased prices and stricter regulations have increased the pressure on companies to manage the transition to a green future in order to maintain their long-term competitive advantage. ecoplanet offers companies a holistic energy management system to facilitate this transition. By leveraging smart meter data, ecoplanet enables AI and big data analytics to help companies automatically save costs and achieve their sustainability goals.
The startup gives customers access to real-time data every minute and automatically recommends measures to reduce consumption using AI and big data analytics. Direct compatibility with some EMS reduces the implementation effort.
