A lamp to go
The start-up Neonzoon is launching a crowdfunding campaign. They want to sell a portable lamp that can suck itself up almost anywhere.
When you go from room to room at home, there's actually always at least one item that comes along: your smartphone. In the future, it could also be a small lamp that a Freising student has developed. It is handy, battery-operated and clings to almost all surfaces. From there, it should provide light at the desk, while eating, washing hands and reading. It could even go with you on trips, according to the developer's vision.
To make the little lamp a reality, the startup behind it, Neozoon, has initiated a crowdfunding campaign. Starting April 15, the team then wants to collect money from the community. Backers will receive a limited number of lamps, the price is 95 euros. In the sale itself, the lamp should then cost 120 euros.
Founder Lukas Heintschel came up with the idea back in 2016, only a year and a half ago followed the implementation. He got two friends by his side, Tim Pfeilschifter and Kilian Klepper, and founded the start-up Neozoon. Together, they set about developing the first prototypes. They received support from Munich University of Applied Sciences.
The goal is to make the lamp not only handy, but also 100 percent recyclable and locally manufactured. The lamps will later be available through their own online shop, but shops in downtown Freising are also interested, Heintschel told the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In addition to the lamp, the start-up also wants to offer other products.
