French start-up Moonshot Insurance comes to Germany

The start-up Moonshot Insurance offers white-label solutions with which insurance can be individually added to products. The service is now also available in Germany, where its partner is Stocard.
The French insurtech Moonshot now wants to conquer the German market. The start-up, which offers a white-label solution for insurance companies, has chosen Stocard as its partner. Moonshot's technology can be integrated by online retailers or service providers so that they can offer customers the opportunity to purchase personalized insurance. "Digitalization is making services more and more individual. This must also apply to insurance these days. Customers expect flexible offers that adapt to their needs," says Managing Director Pascal Bied-Charreton. For example, customers could book insurance for a flight cancellation, but omit the baggage insurance that is normally included if they have not checked any baggage.
"We were impressed by the flexibility and commitment of the Moonshot Insurance experts, especially when it came to adapting otherwise standard processes to provide our users with the best possible customer experience," says Stocard founder Björn Goß. Moonshot Insurance claims to have 60 million customers in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Germany and has sold 500,000 policies to date.
