Future Energy Ventures (FEV) moves forward with 110 million euro fund for sustainable innovation

Future Energy Ventures (FEV) has reached a milestone with the successful closing of 110 million euros for its SFDR Article 9 fund. The fund invests in digital climate technologies with a focus on a sustainable future

Berlin, January 30, 2024 - Future Energy Ventures (FEV) announces that a new fund of 110 million euros has been established. Active in the energy technology ecosystem since 2016, FEV has taken a further step today by creating a fully independent multi-LP fund. FEV emphasizes the importance of smart innovation for a cleaner environment and thanks E.ON and the European Investment Fund (EIF) for their support. The fund has so far secured €110 million exclusively for founders who want to accelerate the energy transition. FEV appreciates the partnership and looks forward to working together for a more sustainable future.

Future Energy Ventures (FEV) supports scalable start-ups that want to accelerate the energy transition and decarbonize society. Founded in 2016, FEV has operational centers in Berlin, Tel Aviv and Palo Alto and offers funding, collaboration and scaling opportunities through partnerships with industry and investors.

110 million euro fund for the digitalization of the energy transition

The fund, managed by FEV, aims to invest in start-ups and scale-ups that develop and implement digital solutions for the energy transition. The fund's capital is used exclusively for sustainable investments in three core themes: future energy, future cities and future technologies. The investments will be made primarily in innovation centers in Europe, North America and the Middle East. The fund aims to reach its final closure in the fourth quarter of 2024.
