The British tech company Go Swag has closed a financing round of 5 million US dollars. The round was led by Mercia Ventures, with participation from Techstart Ventures and other angel investors. In total, the company's funding to date amounts to 6.2 million US dollars.

Go Swag digitizes the previously highly fragmented corporate gifting market and enables global companies to deliver high-quality, brand-compliant gifts worldwide, including logistics, production, customs clearance and fulfillment.

Customers already include over 1,000 companies, including Meta, Apple, Netflix, ElevenLabs and n8n.

Corporate gifting is becoming a scalable brand channel

The market for corporate gifting is considered to be worth billions, but technologically underdeveloped. Go Swag is changing this and replacing traditional catalog and individual solutions with an integrated platform.

Key elements are the AI-supported recommendation engine Sonny™, which creates curated product suggestions within seconds, and claim pages™, which recipients use to specify sizes and delivery dates themselves. This should reduce administrative effort by up to 96%.

Steep growth curve and US expansion

Go Swag currently employs around 30 people in Glasgow and has been recording triple-digit growth rates (112% CAGR) for five years. With the new financing, the company plans to enter the US market and expand its infrastructure in Europe and South East Asia.

At the same time, the team is set to grow to around 70 employees, particularly in the areas of engineering, sales and operations.

AI meets logistics

In addition to the software platform, Go Swag is also building physical infrastructure, including warehouse locations in Europe and the USA. The aim is to enable global distribution and real-time transparency of orders and programs. We are curious to see whether the days of catalogs with suitcases containing 1000 printed pens are really coming to an end. Some big players are already on board, but is the idea enough to wake up the entire industry?
