HappyRobot Becomes a Unicorn with German Investment and Raises $150 Million
The U.S. company HappyRobot has closed a Series C funding round of $150 million, bringing its valuation to $1.2 billion. The round was co-led by Prysm Capital and Eurazeo. Strategic investors also include T.Capital, the investment arm of Deutsche Telekom. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its AI platform internationally and further accelerate the development of intelligent business agents.
AI Agents Handle Complex Business Processes
HappyRobot is developing a platform that enables companies to create, manage, and scale AI agents for complex operational workflows. Unlike traditional chatbots, these agents independently handle tasks across various systems while collaborating directly with employees.
The goal is not only to automate individual processes but also to build company-wide “Enterprise Superintelligence,” in which humans and AI continuously learn from one another.
More than 150 corporate customers
The platform is already being used by over 150 companies. Customers include DHL, Kuehne + Nagel, Uber, Naturgy, and Repsol, among others.
According to the company, business has increased fivefold since the previous funding round at the end of 2025. HappyRobot has had a particularly strong presence in logistics so far, but plans to expand into sectors such as insurance, energy, telecommunications, aviation, and other industries in the future.
Millions of Automated Tasks Per Month
The AI agents are already handling millions of operational tasks per month. According to the company, the platform now automates 28,000 work hours per month for one customer. In customer service, the agents resolve an average of over 70 percent of all inquiries completely autonomously, achieving customer satisfaction scores of 9.4 out of 10 points.
Sales teams are also benefiting: According to HappyRobot, companies have in some cases been able to increase their revenue fivefold through new sales channels that were previously underutilized.
Capital Flows into Growth and International Expansion
With the new funding, HappyRobot plans to:
- further develop its AI platform technologically,
- create additional integrations with enterprise systems,
- expand the infrastructure for large-scale AI agent deployments,
- and strengthen its global teams in engineering, implementation, and go-to-market.
The company now has a presence at eight locations in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia.
Strong International Investor Consortium
The $150 million Series C round was led by Prysm Capital and Eurazeo as co-lead investors.
Other investors include Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Base10, Y Combinator, Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), Orange, T.Capital (Deutsche Telekom), Bankinter, Endeavor Catalyst, Kfund, and Wave-X. With this latest round, the total capital raised now stands at approximately $200 million.
Founders Focus on "Enterprise Superintelligence"
HappyRobot was founded by Pablo Palafox (CEO), Javier “Javi” Palafox (COO), and Luis Paarup (CTO). The founding team combines AI expertise with operational experience in complex business processes and aims to deeply integrate AI agents into existing business workflows.
