And the next German investor is apparently planning a shell company: Dominik Richter founded Hellofresh ten years ago. Now, according to insiders, he wants to bring a shell company to the New York Stock Exchange with investor Roman Kirsch, as reported by WirtschaftsWoche and Gründerszene

, among others. 200 to 500 million dollars are to be collected for this purpose, the corresponding documents could be submitted to the US market supervisory authority SEC as early as in the next ten days. There is said to be no connection to Hellofresh.

For the shell company concept, in English SPAC for Special Purpose Acquisition Company, an empty shell company is floated on the stock market, for which a suitable company has to be found for acquisition in the following 24 months. Otherwise the investors will get their money back. Investor Jan Beckers is also to be on board. A takeover candidate is to come from the technology sector with a focus on Europe.

Just last week it became known that Rocket Internet probably wants to bring a shell company to the New York Stock Exchange, for this the investment company wants to collect 290 million dollars. Investor Klaus Hommels also wants to raise 400 million euros for a

shell company.
