Until September 17, HHL Leipzig is looking for women interested in founding a company for its free start-up initiative. This offers excellent training at a prestigious business school.

The HHL Female Entrepreneurs Initiative at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management (HHL) is still looking for motivated women who want to take the step into self-employment until September 17. The 6-month program, which is offered free of charge, supports women in developing and implementing their business ideas. HHL, also known as HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, is a prestigious university with doctoral and post-doctoral degrees and is one of the world's leading international business schools (ranked 19th in the "Master in Management" ranking), according to the Financial Times. Its goal is to educate entrepreneurial, responsible and capable leaders.

Our start-up initiative aims to support women in Saxony in realizing their entrepreneurial ambitions. We place great emphasis on female leadership and innovation and are proud to offer a network of experienced female mentors

Dr. Caroline Große, Project Coordinator

The program offers participants up to 15 events that provide them with knowledge and inspiration for their start-up. The topics range from personal development and marketing opportunities to working out one's own business model. Each participant also receives a mentor from the business world who provides valuable support on the path to self-employment.

Interested women who would like to grab one of the 12 free spots in the 13th Founders Class have until September 17, 2023 to send their application by email to gruenderinnen@hhl.de. In the application, they should briefly explain their academic background and startup idea.

Multiple award-winning startup school

In 2021, HHL was recognized by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany) as a leading start-up university in Germany for the fifth time in a row. Over the past 30 years, more than 530 start-ups have emerged from HHL, employing a total of more than 50,000 people. HHL was the first German private business school to receive the prestigious AACSB accreditation, and it has since successfully defended this quality status four times in a row.

Thus, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management not only brings valuable support to those seeking to start a business through its Women Founders Initiative, but also stands as an institution itself for excellent education and a strong connection to the entrepreneurial world. This environment offers participating women a unique opportunity to pursue and realize their entrepreneurial ambitions.
