Konstanz-based medtech startup EVERSION Technologies Receives 2.3 Million Euros in Seed II Funding

The Konstanz-based medtech startup EVERSION Technologies has successfully closed its Seed II funding round, raising 2.3 million euros. The round was led by the family office Kammerer Holding and the venture capital fund of Kreissparkasse Biberach, which had already served as the lead investor in the Seed I round in early 2025.

With this fresh capital, EVERSION plans to focus on expanding its sales and marketing efforts, growing its partner network, and further accelerating the adoption of its medical solution.

Data-Driven Insoles for Back, Hip, and Knee Pain

EVERSION develops smart insoles that not only support the foot but also specifically correct improper weight distribution. The company addresses a frequently underestimated cause of musculoskeletal complaints: an unnatural foot position inside the shoe.

Before manufacturing the custom insoles, sensor-equipped insoles work in conjunction with a smartphone app to analyze the user’s movement patterns over a two-week period. A 3D biomechanical model uses this data to create a personalized load profile, which serves as the basis for manufacturing the so-called 0° insole. This insole is designed to return the foot to a natural position while maintaining its mobility.

More than 1,500 customers since the market launch

Since its Seed I funding round in January 2025, EVERSION has achieved several key milestones. Following CE certification as a medical device, the product entered the market at the end of 2025 and was included in prevention programs offered by statutory health insurers. As a result, costs can be covered through certified prevention courses, while privately insured individuals can bill for the product using appropriate prescriptions.

According to the company, more than 1,500 customers are now using the solution. The insoles can be ordered directly through the company’s website.

Broad investor consortium supports further growth

In addition to the two lead investors, numerous other investors are participating in the Seed II round. These include the Start-up BW Seed Fund, S-Kap Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft, Meerkat (the investment arm of Kreissparkasse Esslingen-Nürtingen), Turtle, and business angels from the Heimatboost, BACB, and hivn networks.
